4/4/09 - XSA-NG 1.0 FINAL, a re-write of my XSA plugin, using 'C', with an improved architecture.

download xsa-ng plugin for X-Plane on Windows.

MD5 for the DLL

to install the plugin :

just drop the plugin in your x-plane plugin folder and start x-plane.
you should then see a new menu item in the plugin menu.
Optionally, download the USGS data file with national coverage. unzip the xdata.dlm data file into the x-plane install directory (same directory as the x-plane executable).

the USGS data file is optional.
the plugin will work standalone and show only X-Plane database information.

i've tested with 9.22 and 8.64. it should work for any 8.X or 9.X X-Plane.

some notes :

there are almost half a million points in the data file so it can take upwards of a couple of minutes to load, and start showing USGS points.
be patient when you first load an area.
i've removed the dependency on the external GLUT DLL that I had with my previous version of XSA.
i hope to have a build for Mac and Linux soon. check back often. i also hope to have further updates to the base plugin.

X-Force - plugin for generating 3D effects on the pilot head position in 3D cockpit mode.

download X-Force plugin for X-Plane 8.X on Windows.

MD5 for the DLL

just drop in your plugin folder and go. might work for 9.X, i haven't tried yet

original source and concept care of Bob Feaver @ RogerThat.ca

i made some minor changes to suit my own taste, and have republished with his permission.

if you want the linux port, mail me, i think i have it laying around somewhere but i'm too lazy to look right now.
